The come home journey

What if emotionally intelligent leadership existed at the foundation of our systems—not as an initiative, but as a way of leading, relating, and designing environments where people can thrive?

This question drives everything we do at Come Home Collective.

We believe culture is shaped by how adults show up, make decisions, and build systems. When emotional intelligence is embedded into leadership and adult development, it transforms not just classrooms or organizations—but the lived experience of the people within them. Connection deepens. Trust grows. Belonging becomes real. And environments shift from reactive to intentional.

Our work is deeply rooted in education—one of the most complex human systems we have—where leadership, relationships, and systems intersect every day. We partner with higher education institutions, school districts, states, and mission-aligned organizations to move emotional intelligence from a concept to a lived practice. By centering adult learning and hands-on implementation, we support leaders in designing systems that reflect their values and sustain wellbeing, growth, and performance over time.

While our foundation is in education, the leadership patterns we study and support—around emotional intelligence, culture, belonging, and wellbeing—extend across industries wherever people and systems intersect.

Come Home Collective was founded by Griffin Gervais, whose work over the past decade has focused on emotionally intelligent leadership, adult development, and systems-level change. Through partnerships with research centers, nonprofits, and education systems nationwide, Griffin has seen firsthand how emotionally intelligent leadership can reshape culture, strengthen relationships, and create lasting impact at scale.

Today, Come Home works alongside leaders who believe that human development is not separate from success—it is foundational to it. Together, we bring strategy to life, helping organizations design cultures and systems that support connection, belonging, and long-term impact.

Come Home Collective is not a program or a one-time intervention.
It is a leadership-centered, systemic approach to embedding emotional intelligence into how systems function—equipping adults with the skills, awareness, and practices to lead with intention and create environments where people can thrive.
